Retail News & insights

As the industry’s pre-eminent recognition program, the 2017 eftpos ARA Australian Retail Awards showcase the vision, innovation and excellence of remarkable retailers. The extensive range of accolades represent the achievements of retailers large and small, and this year’s participants exceeded all expectations in terms of quality and quantity. The ARA has reimagined the 2017 selection process to determine what constitutes the ‘best in retail’ in this evolving sector - from independent owner-operators to national brands, industry disruptors, outstanding staff and exceptional store-fitouts.

The coveted 2017 Retailer of the Year Award proved to be the hardest on record to judge, with the extraordinary calibre of leading Australian retailers in the field. This meticulous process has ensured that the impartial panel of judges were well-equipped to decide the Top 20 Shortlist of Australian retailers and select the candidate most deserving of the 2017 crown.
