Easter scavenger hunt re-imagined by tech savvy retailersBY Australian Retailers Association
Retailers are getting into the spirit of Easter!
Mirvac Retail who own and manages shopping centres across Australia’s eastern seaboard are offering customers the opportunity to partake in an Easter Hunt with a twist this April, with the launch of an industry first bot-powered scavenger hunt on Facebook’s popular messenger app.
Taking place across 15 Mirvac Retail centres the interactive bot-led campaign will have savvy youngsters scuttling around the centre to hunt out the clues and find out a bit about Australia’s endangered native Bilby along the way. The ChatBot program will be customised to each centre, offering a tailored experience for the user and the chance for local retailers to participate.
And the incentive – well chocolate of course! Campaign confectionary partner Fyna Chocolates, makers of the famous Pink Lady and Easter Bilbies and national supporters of The Save The Bilby Foundation will provide a chocolate Bilby for every child who completes the Easter Hunt.
All families who finish the hunt will also go into the draw to win a family Roar & Snore overnight safari adventure at Taronga Zoo, where they can also see some real life bilbies up close. The prize includes flights from the nearest capital city to Sydney.
The Roar & Snore experience promises intimate encounters with animals, fascinating keeper talks, delicious food and safari-style accommodation with spectacular views over Sydney Harbour.
The campaign is set to start at the beginning of April and run through Easter to April 22.
